Challenge

GridPoint, a leading clean tech company, promotes environmental stewardship and fuels the adoption of renewable energy sources. Venture capital investment has allowed GridPoint the opportunity to build their brand awareness to a targeted utility engineering audience seeking alternative energy resource options. GridPoint turned to EyeTraffic Media to establish their brand awareness online.

Solution

EyeTraffic Media worked with GridPoint’s corporate marketing team to develop a marketing plan that included a core set of key performance indicators (KPIs). Additionally, site performance analytics were applied to measure online marketing campaign performance by monitoring KPI volume. Once these performance indicators and measurement tools were in place, EyeTraffic Media built and managed all of GridPoint’s natural (SEO) and paid (PPC) search engine marketing efforts.

Results

  • GridPoint catapulted to the top position in organic search results within all of their primary keyword segments.
  • Traffic originating through PPC had the second highest conversion rate of KPIs across all advertising media leveraged by GridPoint, with SEO having the best conversion rate.
  • Overall KPIs increased 67% in total from 2007 into 2008.
